Duobox vs Hostinger
Duobox

The promo price and the one you pay later

This page is for anyone who saw Hostinger's email for under a dollar and wants to know what's in the fine print before paying. We read the prices on Hostinger's official site on 26 October 2026, in dollars.

Hostinger's small number is real. It's just that you pay it all together, up front, and then it changes. On Duobox the smallest number is zero, and there's nothing to pay in advance.

Your first inbox is free

On Duobox you start without paying: 1 person, 1 inbox, 1 domain and 10 GB, no card and no time limit. It's not a promotion with an expiry date or a price that multiplies at renewal: it's the plan, and it stays that way as long as you're one person.

At Hostinger, the cheapest address is $0.39 a month, but for that price you pay all 48 months at once. And it comes with 5 GB, half of what you get free on Duobox.

In one line

Duobox

Duobox is your company's email on your domain, paid per person and month to month, with shared inboxes and an agent that can handle them with the permissions you choose.

Hostinger sells email per address, with very low promo prices if you pay for several years at once.

Why Duobox

  • You start free, with nothing paid up front

No card and no time limit.

  • One price, every month

No intro price, no renewal price. $2 per person today, and $2 per person next month.

  • sales@ isn't one more account

It's a shared inbox that several people work, and its history stays even when the team changes.

  • More storage from day one

10 GB free and 50 GB per inbox on the paid plan, versus 5 GB on the Starter plan.

  • The agent you already use

Paste https://mcp.duobox.io/v1/mcp into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, sign in with your account, and choose what it can do. It's not an AI bolted onto our website: it's yours, with the key you hand it.

  • If your email is already at Hostinger

It comes over by IMAP in a single pass.

When to choose each one

Duobox

Choose Duobox if you want to start free, your team shares inboxes, people come and go, you'd rather pay month to month, and you want an agent that can work right in there.

Choose Hostinger if you're a team of one, you're comfortable paying four years up front and 5 GB is enough.

And if your website is at Hostinger, you can combine them: the website stays there and the email goes on Duobox. You connect them by copying a few records into your domain's DNS.

Questions we get

Is the first inbox free forever?
Yes, as long as you're one person with one inbox and 10 GB. You only pay when you add someone, a second inbox or more storage.
Can I keep my website at Hostinger and my email at Duobox?
Yes. The website uses some of the domain's records and the email uses others; they don't step on each other.
How long does the move take?
Connecting the domain means copying a few records. Bringing over your old email is an IMAP import.
