Webmail
From your phone's or your computer's browser, the webmail installs with its own icon and its own window, no app store involved. Offline you see what was already on the device, and what you write waits in the Outbox and goes out on its own when the connection is back.

No more clicking Show images. Your browser doesn't ask the sender for them: they go through our own signed, fenced proxy, so whoever wrote to you no longer sees your IP, your network or your device.

Each person brings the mail they already had into their inbox: folders, read and starred state, with the original dates. From Gmail with an app password, or from any IMAP server; Outlook is coming. If something new lands over there later, import again and only what's missing comes over.

Your mail's envelope —the Return-Path— now comes from bounce.yourdomain.com instead of Amazon SES. SPF aligns with your domain and DMARC no longer rests on the DKIM signature alone.
